Job Summary

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, etc.); perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe, efficient equipment operations; accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions; manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked; respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner; clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers; represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service; follow safety regulations and company policies; participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities. Requires 3+ years of commercial foodservice and/or refrigeration repair experience, valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints, strong problem-solving and communication skills, ability to lift up to 50+ lbs., on-call rotation, and EPA Universal certification preferred. The role offers a compensation range of $30-$40 per hour with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of commercial foodservice and/or refrigeration repair experience
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record required
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor / outdoor conditions
  • Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters
  • Own industry standard hand tools
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed
  • EPA Universal certification preferred
