Job Summary
Foodservice Supervisor position at Metz Culinary Management for Jewish Hospital (PM shift 12pm-8pm) with alternating weekends. Responsibilities include developing rapport with residents/patients/community, handling complaints and public relations, supporting GM in communications with Client Contracts and departments, maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment, training staff and ongoing employee development, and performing tasks as requested by GM. Requires SERV Safe Certification and employee-management experience (scheduling, disciplinary actions, recognition programs), plus record-keeping and budget-management duties; experience in commercial/institution dining (e.g., school or healthcare facility) is preferred. This role emphasizes hospitality, café/kitchen operations knowledge, guest services, and ongoing reporting and training within a healthcare/academic dining setting.
