Job Summary
Food Technology Teacher to deliver high-quality Food Technology curriculum aligned with the Australian Curriculum and SACE requirements; create inclusive, engaging learning environments; assess and report student progress using College systems; collaborate with colleagues, parents/caregivers, and leadership to support learning and wellbeing; participate in College life including co-curricular activities and professional development; contribute to the Catholic ethos of Cardijn College.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Teacher in South Australia with qualifications in Food Technology or Home Economics
- Accreditation to teach in Catholic Education SA (or willingness to obtain)
- Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and families
- Commitment to Catholic ethos and values of Cardijn College
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Experience delivering practical and theoretical components of Food Technology
- Working With Children Check and Catholic Police Clearance
- Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care certificate
- Approved Mandatory Notification training
- First Aid Certificate relevant to the role
