Job Summary
Transport freshly prepared food to other locations following CEC transportation guidelines. Serve meals according to standardized menus and recipes using proper portion control while adhering to federal, state, and district policies. Maintain kitchen safety by following sanitation, cleaning, and HACCP program standards. Assist in receiving and stowing groceries and equipment as assigned by the Manager. Complete written production menu worksheets and follow daily job assignments and rotations. Operate the POS system when needed. Work as a team with kitchen staff maintaining a consistent positive attitude. This role supports USDA and Child Nutrition Programs for students at Colorado Early Colleges.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent, including GED or work experience
- Must verify legal right to be employed in the United States within 72 hours of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Some food or school food service experience preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Have experience in scratch cooking professionally or personally is helpful
