Job Summary
Maintain hardware and software for the Food Services Department, acting as a liaison between vendors and the Technology and SIS Departments. Manage the department website, track site health inspections, and oversee the software rollover process before each school term. Diagnose and repair cafeteria and central office systems, making site visits with a personal vehicle or working remotely to resolve reported issues. Install new hardware and software, recommend purchases, and conduct or assist in training for Food Services staff. Maintain logs of all software issues and their resolutions, while tracking daily communications between Food Services and SIS software. Perform basic duties of the Food Services Application Manager as cross-trained. Work on-call for tasks requiring completion after standard hours.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited technical school with coursework concentration in computer applications or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of documented experience with computer
- Documented experience with point of service and back of the house Food Service software
- Strong communication skills in multiple settings
- Ability to be an engaging change agent and culture creator that can inspire
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to make decisions
- Collaborative management style
- Proven track record of working with diverse individuals at all levels to drive decision-making and problem
- High degree of professionalism

- Competence in using a personal computer including the district's software
- Competence in using and demonstrating the use of food service software to food services
- Willingness to learn and work with new computer
- High School Diploma
- Must have ability to provide own transportation to schools, work locations, and meeting sites
- Must possess mobility skills necessary to access a variety of work areas
- Must possess a valid driver's license
