Job Summary
Ensure cleanliness in all on-site dining areas, beverage stations, and break areas while maintaining food safety standards. Assist with food preparation, meal delivery, and guest service, rotating through culinary, hospitality, porter, and dish teams as instructed. Support product rotation, inventory tracking, and distribution according to leadership directives. Setup, maintain, and breakdown daily workstations in kitchen or service environments. Carry large heavy items up to 25 lbs and stand for up to 10 hours while meeting time and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 2+ years of experience in food preparation, customer service, or other food services support roles
- Ability to work all shifts and available for overtime and weekends, as needed
- Ability to carry large heavy items, such as dishes in tubs or trays unassisted (up to 25 lbs.)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time – up to 10 hours a day
- Ability to work all shifts and available for extended hours and weekends, as needed
- Ability to perform frequent bending, stooping, and lifting of objects
- U.S. citizen or national
- U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder)
- Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157
- Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158
- Eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of cooking experience
- Ability to take initiative in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Possession or willingness to obtain food handler's card
- Experience working in a high-volume output environment
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook primarily)
- Sound understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
