Food Services/Server (Casual Position)

Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day food services activities for residents in the dining room, including preparation, serving, ware-washing, and cleaning work areas. Assist residents as required and manage the receiving, distribution, and storage of supply deliveries. Maintain a commitment to resident safety by adhering to Occupational Health and Safety policies, promoting health and safety awareness, and reporting any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately. Make recommendations to improve efficiency in meal preparation and workflow. Participate in quality improvement, risk management, and infection prevention programs while attending applicable meetings and in-services.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

- Ability to work in teams collaboratively and communicate with others in a respectful manner
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions, learn procedures and follow routine processes
