Job Summary
Deliver patient food service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery, and pick-up, while accommodating special requests and in-between meal food delivery. Maintain a neat appearance with excellent hygiene and demonstrate strong customer relations and communication skills. Commit to a minimum of one 12-hour shift per week, three holidays annually, and one weekend monthly, including two consecutive weeks of training. Fluent in written and spoken English with the ability to follow written and oral instructions. Join a 24/7 Food & Nutrition Services team supporting nourishing meals for patients, visitors, and employees at Baptist Health Louisville.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read and write
- Must have ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Neat appearance / excellent hygiene
- Excellent customer relation skills
- Excellent communication skills required
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Required to work a minimum of one 12-hour shift per week (6:15a-6:45p)
- Required to work 3 Holidays a year
- Required to work a minimum of one weekend a month
- Must be able to commit to two consecutive weeks of training (3 full shifts per week = 6 shifts total)
- Must have a clean work record
