Job Summary
Oversee daily operations and compliance of the federally funded Child Nutrition Program at 15+ Club sites, leading monthly reimbursement claims and maintaining audit-ready records. Coordinate with vendors on meal orders and delivery issues, conduct regular site visits to monitor food safety, and provide training and coaching to staff. Track meal service data for reporting and grant documentation, cultivate relationships with community partners, and implement improvements to streamline processes. Manage procurement of supplies and donated items while collaborating with leadership to support program expansion and new site onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalency certificate
- 2+ years of professional experience in grant management, program compliance, or related fields
- CPR, First Aid, and Food Manger's Certification (within first 90 days of employment)
- valid Arizona driver's license
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including vendors, site supervisors, and community partners
- Ability to organize and maintain large amounts of data and documents
- Ability to understand, implement, and teach federal and state requirements
- Skilled in identifying operational improvements and implementing new practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook)
- Ability to develop and provide training or coaching staff in operational or field-based settings
- Occasional evening hours required as needed for monitoring visits
- Frequent travel to Club sites and partner locations required
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
- Work is performed in both office and field environments
