Job Summary
Food Services Manager responsible for administering all phases of the kitchen and cafeteria operations, including procurement, food preparation, serving, inventory, budgeting, vendor coordination, quality and sanitation compliance, staff supervision, performance appraisals, and student/customer service. Requires leadership in coordinating cooks and student employees, ensuring health code compliance, safe equipment use, timely service, and cost control, with a focus on maintaining high-quality dining services and engaging in regular staff meetings and committees to drive improvements. Proven ability to manage budgets, menus (28-day menu submissions), training, and adherence to policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Hotel, Restaurant, Institutional Management, Culinary or related field
- One to two years food service/preparation or related experience
- One-year supervisory experience
- Valid State Driver's License
