Food Services Manager

Prepare weekly menus providing nutritious meals to residents in the recovery program that meet DOC and VA standards. Provide supervision to support staff and work cooperatively with area non-profit agencies and private requests for catering services. Process Food Stamp applications in accordance with the Department for Community Based Services and ensure monthly reports are submitted accurately. Monitor food inventory, safe handling of all food served, kitchen purchasing, and physical plant compliance with NKY Health Department standards. Train staff on proper food handling, preparation, storage, and culinary classes while ensuring all personnel uphold NKY Health Dept standards. Carry a mobile phone while on duty and when away from the office.
