Food Services Leader - BOH Catering

Job Summary
Coordinating activities and operations of all food service areas in the Toledo Zoo's catering, concessions, and restaurant spaces. Supervises food preparation, trains staff, monitors inventory, ensures cleanliness and safety, and handles cash. Leads and trains staff, collaborates with chefs and supervisors on product ordering, storage, and delivery schedules, operates kitchen equipment, and communicates with vendors, customers, and zoo staff while adhering to Toledo Zoo policies and OSHA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the fleet insurance carrier
- Must possess required certification in food service sanitation
- Three to five years of experience in food service management
- Prefer degree in Food Services, Business, or related field
