Job Summary
Oversee, manage, and document departmental finances, accounting procedures, and financial reporting while providing consultation to ensure fiscal accountability and operational efficiency. Prepare payroll, design and maintain filing systems, generate supply requisitions, and monitor clerical functions. Utilize electronic equipment and software for word processing, data management, and telecommunications, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Edumet experience is preferred. Requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, five years of data processing experience, a valid driver's license, and strong organizational skills. Bilingual ability is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
- minimum of five (5) years of data processing experience
- valid driver's license with no serious violations
- ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- integrity, good moral character, and initiative
- effective communication skills in English, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary
- knowledge of office and accounting functions, including payroll preparation, filing system design and maintenance, supply requisition generation, and the assignment and monitoring of clerical functions
- proficiency in the use of electronic equipment and software for word processing, data management, and telecommunications
- strong organizational skills
- exceptional computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
