Food Services Coordinator

Job Summary
Create weekly and bi-weekly menus using available resources and prepare, serve, and clean up meals for community guests. Oversee volunteers and guests in the kitchen while ensuring ServSafe food handling requirements and all health and safety regulations are met. Complete required food safety logs, document accepted donations, and operate various kitchen equipment. Check food freshness, rotate or discard out-of-date items, and ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and secured. Participate in weekly meetings and monthly trainings. Maintain a valid driver's license and DOT physical card.
Required Qualifications
- One or more years of commercial kitchen experience
- Ability to communicate with other staff
- Computer literate, proficient with Microsoft Office software, internet and email
- Possess a valid driver's license in accordance with our insurance provider's requirements
- Possess or have the ability to obtain a DOT physical card
- Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb stairs, push, and pull items weighing 100 pounds or less; manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
