Food Services Associate I - Part-Time

Job Summary
Prepare, plate, serve, and transport food and supplies to patients, family members, physicians, and the public while ensuring timely, accurate, and courteous service. Maintain strict sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to guarantee food safety. Operate various food service and computer equipment while adhering to local health regulations and safety requirements. Wear required protective clothing, including gowns, gloves, goggles, and closed-toe footwear. Perform physical tasks involving reaching, standing, squatting, bending, and lifting supplies weighing up to 80 lbs. Work rotating weekends and holidays during the day shift from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc.
- Requires the ability to climb ladders
- Physical requirements to include: reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time
- Requires adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption
- Requires the ability to operate kitchen equipment
- Team member will be required to work rotating weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred
- Prior food service experience is preferred
