Job Summary
Prepare short order food/beverages and assist with meal preparation for patients (including modified fluids) on the PM shift; clean and dishwash patient meal trays; maintain kitchen hygiene in accordance with the food safety plan and production schedules; monitor waste management; inform coordinators of stock levels; prepare sandwiches and salads on weekends; ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and related working areas.
Required Qualifications
- Food Safety Certificate HLTFSE001
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen
- Previous experience in an Aged Care environment (desirable)
- A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain
