Job Summary
Food Services Assistant needed for a permanent part-time PM shift (approximately 12 hours per week) at St Vincent’s Health Australia in Melbourne. Responsibilities include preparing short-order foods and beverages, cleaning and dishwashing patient meal trays, maintaining the work area per the food safety plan and production schedules, monitoring waste, ensuring kitchen hygiene and compliance, and preparing sandwiches and salads on weekends. Requires Food Safety Certificate HLTFSE001, and previous experience in a commercial kitchen; experience in an aged care environment is desirable. A criminal history check is required or willingness to obtain one.
