Food Services Assistant

Food Services Assistant at Houston Methodist responsible for a range of duties in the kitchen, patient tray line, and retail areas including tray assembly, basic food preparation, serving, and dishwashing. Position transports food carts to patient care units and conference rooms, communicates safety and sanitation procedures, and ensures compliance with local food ordinances. Works with peers and management to maintain clean, safe work areas and supports department goals. Requires a Food Handlers Permit and English proficiency to perform essential duties; relevant healthcare food service knowledge (Serve Safe guidelines) is preferred.
