Job Summary
Participates in preparing and serving appetizing, nourishing, well-balanced meals for residents; assists with dishwashing and cleaning; sets up tray lines or buffet dining; assembles meals and trays according to facility procedures; follows safety, food handling, and standardized recipes to minimize waste and ensure quality; supports personalized nutrition and care for residents within a senior living continuum (Rehabilitation, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing).
Required Qualifications
- One-year experience in food service institutional setting preferred
- Basic understanding of nutrition and therapeutic diets
- Excellent interpersonal, organization and communication skills
- Understanding of person-centered care
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
