Job Summary
Food Service Worker responsibilities include coordinating daily assignments and preparing salad mixes, sandwiches, desserts, and related items for patient trays. Duties span reviewing production sheets, assembling supplies, portioning items with proper utensils, and preparing items per standardized recipes. The role covers all stations on the patient tray line, ensuring efficient, accurate service, as well as assisting with tray line setup, delivering and retrieving patient trays, and maintaining sanitation of the tray line, prep areas, and associated equipment. Interaction with patients and visitors is professional, and related duties as assigned may be performed. Minimum education required is a High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of job-related experience; Flexible scheduling is noted as a desirable (not required) criterion.
