Job Summary
Assist manager with food and meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and help complete daily reports. Ensure high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety; follow menu plans, store food properly, and serve meals according to schedules and policies. Operate and care for kitchen equipment (especially knives), coordinate major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and serving equipment, and adhere to food safety regulations and uniform policy. Maintain a clean, organized work area; perform other duties as assigned and be prepared for physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing. Prioritize timely preparation of diverse food items and contribute to customer satisfaction through garnishments and presentation.
Required Qualifications
- Food Service Certificate as needed
- Sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
- Be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure
