Food Service Worker

Supervise inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and service shifts. Prepare, assist, or instruct inmates and staff in cooking quality foods according to planned menus, recipes, and work instructions. Ensure all food is stored properly and in a sanitary manner while following food safety regulations. Serve food during meal schedules, maintain clean work areas including refrigerators, cooking equipment, and floors, and train other food service workers. Perform physical duties such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. This role is located in a correctional facility and requires working in close contact with inmates.
