Food Service Worker

Supervise inmate labor and team members during food preparation and service shifts in a correctional facility. Prepare, instruct, and assist staff in cooking meals according to assigned menus, recipes, and work instructions while ensuring proper food storage and sanitation. Serve food during planned schedules, utilize kitchen equipment for portioning, and maintain a clean work environment through sweeping, mopping, and equipment cleaning. Train other workers and promote a safe, healthy environment for employees and inmates. This role requires standing for extended periods and includes physical demands such as lifting and bending.
