Food Service Worker

Supervise inmate labor and team members during food prep and service shifts, preparing and serving meals according to assigned menus and work instructions. Ensure all food is stored and handled in a sanitary manner while utilizing kitchen equipment to cook and portion servings. Train other food service workers and maintain a clean work environment by cleaning refrigerators, cooking equipment, and kitchen floors. Follow all food safety regulations and facility uniform policies while promoting a healthy and safe environment for employees and inmates. This role requires standing for extended periods and includes physical demands such as lifting and bending.
