Job Summary
Prepare USDA-approved meals, manage kitchen inventory using FIFO methods, and ensure all food temperatures and sanitation standards comply with Health Department ordinances. Assist in menu preparation, deliver food to classrooms, and manage dirty dish recovery while maintaining proper stock levels and date-labeled storage. Monitor refrigerator and freezer temperatures daily and verify food delivery quality and accuracy. This on-call part-time role supports early childhood education programs for children ages 0-5. The position requires a High School Diploma, with ServSafe certification preferred, and includes a physical exam and background check. Starting July 2026 at $15.86 per hour, this role contributes to Acelero Learning's mission of eliminating achievement gaps through evidence-based approaches.
