Job Summary
Food Service Worker at Shake Shack Pittsburgh Airport responsible for greeting guests, processing orders and payments, stocking and maintaining equipment, completing opening, ongoing, and closing checklists, cleaning and organizing work areas, and performing other duties as assigned. Ideal candidate is 18+, with basic English proficiency, able to start at 3:30am, with high school diploma preferred, food handlers permit as required by law, and brand certification as required. Must be able to stand for long periods and handle cash transactions using a POS system.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma preferred
- Food handlers permit as required by law
- Brand Certification as required
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English
- Basic mathematical skills to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops
- Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long period of time
- Ability to operate a keyboard & point of sale procedures to pre-check an order & close out a check
