Job Summary
PRN Food Service Worker responsible for preparing and serving meals, patient trayline support, cleaning and sanitation of dishes and kitchen areas, maintaining par levels, temperature checks, potential delivery of meals and nourishment, and assisting in catering or special events. Requires follow-through on established policies, effective communication, ability to learn food handling regulations, and certification requirements; interacts with patients, staff, and families in a healthcare setting with a focus on customer service and food quality in line with dietary and retail cafe procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Food handlers' card/certification with 30 days of hire (Banner Staffing Services)
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at time of hire (where applicable)
- Arizona Criminal History Affidavit at hire
- read and understand written and verbal instruction
- ability to learn and follow established policy and procedures
- cash register experience (POS) where applicable
