Job Summary
Support catering and special events at Jamestown Community College by setting up, serving, and breaking down catering setups; assist with food preparation, portioning, and presentation under catering staff; deliver friendly, professional service to students, faculty, staff, and guests; maintain clean, safe, and sanitary work areas in compliance with food safety standards; transport food, equipment, and supplies to event locations across campus; collaborate with the dining team to ensure events run smoothly and on schedule; flexible hours including evenings and weekends for special events; ServSafe certification a plus; training may be provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior food service or school cafeteria experience a plus
- ServSafe certification a plus; training may be provided
- Must pass all background checks and comply with health and safety requirements
