Job Summary
Prepare, display, and serve food and beverages while following Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) procedures. Clean and sanitize all food preparation equipment, pots, pans, utensils, and dining hall areas including tray belts, dish rooms, and service counters. Replenish supplies, manage trash and recycling, and maintain proper storage of chemicals and food items. Communicate with management regarding stock needs and safety concerns. Disassemble and sanitize dish machines and descale equipment as required. Maintain temperature and HACCP records. Work flexible hours seven days a week across dining halls and special service areas. Position is for nine months per year.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift 10 - 25 lbs.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, 7 day per week operation.
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred and 0-1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Recent experience in food service preferred.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate and implement management direction.
