Food Service Worker- Part-time

Supervise inmate labor and team members during food preparation and service shifts in a correctional facility kitchen. Prepare, assist, or instruct staff on cooking quality foods according to planned menus, recipes, and work instructions. Ensure all food is stored properly in a sanitary manner and follow food safety regulations for sanitation and handling. Serve food during meal schedules while utilizing kitchen equipment to cook and portion meals. Maintain a clean work environment by cleaning refrigerators, cooking equipment, floors, and dishwashing. Train other food service workers and promote a healthy, safe environment for employees and inmates. This part-time role requires standing for extended periods and includes physical demands like lifting and bending.
