Food Service Worker, Part-time (PennWest Clarion)

Job Summary
Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, properly store food using knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage, and set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils. Interact with guests in serving, retail, and dining areas while following proper guest service procedures that include smiling, making eye contact, and greeting guests. Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following all client and regulatory rules and procedures. Maintain a fast pace and ability to multitask when performing duties. This part-time role at PennWest Clarion University Ghost Kitchen runs Monday through Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Previous food service experience is preferred, and candidates must demonstrate a strong work ethic and professional communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Previous food service experience preferred
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate with other team members and other departments with professionalism and respect
- Maintain a professional relationship with all team members, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives
- Must be available Monday through Friday 6:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
- Must be able to lift and handle food products, utensils, and equipment
- Must be able to follow client and regulatory rules and procedures
