Job Summary
Prepare and portion food and beverages following standardized recipes and menus. Assemble patient meal trays accurately according to dietary orders and preferences. Deliver meals to patient rooms promptly and courteously. Serve food in cafeteria areas, ensuring quality presentation and customer service. Maintain sanitation by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment. Clean and sanitize workstations and dining areas while following food safety and hygiene practices. Monitor food temperatures and storage conditions for compliance, assist with unpacking and stocking supplies, and report low stock levels to supervisors. Communicate effectively with nursing staff to resolve meal-related issues and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required

- Previous food service experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or institutional setting preferred
