Job Summary
Set up and dismantle assigned workstations including hot food, cold food, salad bars, and coffee stations to guarantee smooth operations. Stock condiment areas, replenish paper and china supplies, fill beverage machines, and brew coffee. Clean tables, counters, kitchen equipment, and floors while sweeping and mopping. Operate and clean dish machines, sort silverware, and handle waste disposal. Store food following wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures while adhering to HACCP guidelines and sanitation standards. Assist with catering events when necessary and maintain a courteous relationship with staff, patients, and guests. Perform any assigned duties within the department with proper training. Requires City of Norfolk food handling certification, high school diploma, and prior food service experience.
