Job Summary
Food Service Worker at Wickliffe Elementary within the Upper Arlington City Schools, supporting the preparation and serving of nutritious meals for students. Responsibilities include food preparation, serving, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized cafeteria/kitchen; operate the point-of-sale system, handle cash transactions, and ensure accurate meal selections are entered and payments recorded; uphold health and safety regulations, promote a welcoming environment, and interact positively with staff, students, and parents while demonstrating teamwork and good customer service.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to two years of related experience
- Serve Safe food handlers certification or ability to obtain
