Food Service Worker Lead - East Stroudsburg University

Job Summary
Lead all aspects of food preparation and station setup, coordinate and supervise the line, ensure accurate portions and timely service, maintain temperature logs, conduct quality checks, and handle customer feedback with a positive attitude. Responsible for sanitation, waste disposal, cross-training staff, and coordinating with management during opening/closing procedures. Role involves advising employees on line operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supporting concessions, catering, and special events as needed by management.
Required Qualifications
- Serve Safe Certification
- Food Service Experience preferred
- Great customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong Leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Requires frequent lifting/transporting hot food items
- Ability to work inside kitchen area, interact with heated equipment, steam, loud noise, chemicals and other at risk conditions
- This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. PPE may be required
