Food Service Worker

Supervise inmate labor and team members during food preparation and service shifts in the kitchen. Prepare, assist, or instruct workers in cooking quality foods according to planned menus, recipes, and work instructions while utilizing kitchen equipment and utensils. Ensure all food is stored properly and in a sanitary manner, following food safety regulations for sanitation and handling. Serve food during scheduled meals and maintain a clean work environment by cleaning refrigerators, cooking equipment, and floors. Train other food service workers and promote a healthy, safe environment for employees and inmates. This role requires standing for extended periods and includes physical demands such as lifting and bending. A high school diploma, valid driver's license, and at least 18 years of age are required.
