Job Summary
Ensure all food served meets Genuine Foods quality standards while adhering to USDA National School Lunch compliance. Serve students and staff with a positive attitude, coordinating with team members to deliver meals on time. Maintain clean, sanitized kitchen areas and stock serving zones for operational ease. Alert Site Leads or Managers immediately regarding any issues. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors. This role supports K-12 students through nutritious meals, fostering a supportive community aligned with Genuine's mission to enhance minds, bodies, and happiness.
Required Qualifications
- Previous food or customer service experience/training in a mid-high volume food service facility or restaurant
- Willingness to learn the compliance requirements of the USDA National School Lunch Program
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and level-headedness
- Punctual and able to adhere to the time and attendance policy
- Able to climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work in a school environment among kids grades K-12
