Job Summary
Ensure all food served meets Genuine Foods' quality standards while adhering to USDA National School Lunch Program compliance. Serve students and staff with a positive attitude, coordinating with team members to prepare and deliver meals on time. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized kitchen and serving area, alerting the Site Lead or Manager promptly of any issues. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor. This role is located at an elementary, middle, or high school site and requires flexibility and a willingness to learn culinary skills. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb stairs. Required Qualifications
- Must be flexible & team-oriented!
- Previous food or customer service experience/training in a mid-high volume food service facility or restaurant.
- Willingness to learn the compliance requirements of the USDA National School Lunch Program.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and level-headedness.
- Punctual and able to adhere to the time and attendance policy.
- Able to climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a school environment among kids grades K-12.
