Job Summary
Monitor services in the Food and Nutrition Service department, including line areas, patient floors, and service zones. Mentor new hires and direct staff on procedures, cleaning, and supply planning. Complete daily reports, food temperature sheets, and diet order logs via EPIC and C-bord. Safeguard against theft, ensure equipment temperatures are recorded, and notify maintenance of repairs. Assist in retail and utility areas, pass patient trays, and manage opening/closing checklists. Act as the main point of contact during Leader absences, handle patient line phones, and perform service recovery. Check allergy and texture logs, conduct closing walk-throughs, and communicate tally reports to cooks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of previous food service experience
- Minimum 1 year of Computer experience
- Nutritional knowledge
- High School Diploma or GED
- Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 lbs. for force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects
- Occasional balancing, climbing, crouching, kneeling, stooping
- Frequent grasping, hearing, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, standing, talking
- Constant typing/clerical/dexterity, seeing/monitor/computer use, walking
- Occasional bodily fluids/bloodborne exposure, burns, chemical
- Occasional extreme temperatures, noise, vibration, wet and/or humid, odors
- No travel required
Desired Qualifications
