Job Summary
Prepare and serve food for regular and modified diets while maintaining strict sanitation and following standardized recipes. Monitor tray quality and temperature before service, then operate dishwashing machinery and clean kitchen, dining, and storage areas. Gathers, stacks, and washes dishes; receives and stores food deliveries; and assists cooks. Maintain high personal hygiene and report temperature variations promptly. Perform other duties as required under the supervision of the Food Services Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices and sanitation
- Knowledge of dietary systems and how they interrelate with the various departments within the Hospital
- Ability and skill to organize, file and retrieve information
- Ability to use personal computers operating general office software in a Windows environment
- Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with patients, medical staff, administrative staff, health care professionals and the general public both orally and in writing
- Ability to maintain a confident professional demeanor
- Regular attendance

- Valid Oklahoma driver's license
