Job Summary
Prepare, cook, and serve meals for patients, employees, guests, and Congregate Meal clients according to menu plans and state/federal food code requirements; organize cooking and cleaning schedules to ensure meals are served on time and workflow remains orderly; operate a variety of kitchen equipment and utilize diet lists to determine type and amount of food; coordinate with the Food and Nutrition Manager regarding menu changes and substitutions; maintain daily documentation and general kitchen/dining area cleanliness; participate in trainings and communicate effectively with other departments to support department operations.
