Job Summary
Under direct supervision, prepare and serve foods and beverages including salads, sauces, desserts, coffee, and tea. Perform sanitation duties, wash and sort dishes, clean kitchen equipment, and sweep floors. Assist management with inventory counts, receive deliveries, and prepare documentation such as pull sheets and sanitation records. Monitor and direct detainee workers in tray preparation and cleanup. Full-time position with a starting pay of $18.58/hour. Requires a high school diploma and one year of food production experience in a commercial or institutional setting is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent certification
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year food production experience in commercial, military, or institutional setting
- Experience in the field of corrections/detainee management
- Prior correctional food service training
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
