Job Summary
Food Service Worker at SSP America responsible for preparing, serving, selling, and stocking delicious food and beverages for guests. Greet guests warmly, process orders and payments via POS, and maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas. Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists; manage trash/recycling; adhere to health standards; perform general cleaning tasks; and assist with other duties as assigned. Requires 18+ years old, high school diploma preferred, ability to start at 3:30am, and basic math/communication skills; food handlers permit and brand certification as required. Location includes PIT Shake Shack/ SSP America PIT LLC in Pittsburgh, PA.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma preferred
- Food handlers permit as required by law
- Brand Certification as required
- Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long period of time
- Ability to remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu items
- Verbal and written communication is essential
- Able to start work at 330am
- Basic mathematical skills for cash handling
