Job Summary
Assembles prepared food on trays for general and therapeutic diets; prepares special therapeutic nourishments and snacks. Maintains tray line, delivers food to patient floors, and transports food and supplies. May wash pots and pans by hand and cleans and sanitizes work areas. Delivers clean dishes and utensils, participates in safety, infection control, and quality standards. Provides courteous customer service, adheres to the Medical Center’s Code of Conduct, and participates in education and in-service meetings. May serve food in patient rooms, dining rooms, cafeteria, or catered functions. Maintains logs, and performs related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months previous food service experience preferred.
