Job Summary
Assemble and deliver meal trays according to individual dietary requirements while providing direct dining room and tray service support. Assist the kitchen with food preparation tasks, clean and sanitize dining surfaces and equipment, and relay resident needs to kitchen staff to maintain smooth meal operations. This role requires reading tray tickets accurately, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working with elderly and veteran residents, including those in memory care. Candidates must complete background checks, registry screenings, and policy attestations before starting.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work indoors and/or outdoors depending on event needs
- Criminal background check (National Criminal Records Check or NH Release of Criminal Record Authorization)
- BEAS State Registry check
- OIG Exclusion List screening (at hire, with monthly re-screening thereafter)
- Annual Conviction Disclosure Attestation
- Fitness-for-duty attestation, and physical/drug testing where applicable
- Review and attestation of NHVH policies and procedures (at hire and annually)
Desired Qualifications
- Food service experience
- ServSafe certification
- Comfort working directly with elderly and veteran residents, including individuals in memory care
