Food Service Worker

As a Food Service Worker at Banner Gateway Medical Center, you will be part of the Culinary & Nutrition Services team providing service and assistance to patients, staff, and other customers in accordance with dietary and retail cafe policies. Responsibilities include setting up work stations, preparing foods, portions, and nourishments; maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of dishes and kitchen areas; restocking par levels and tracking temperatures; assisting with deliveries, catering, and events; and may involve cashier duties. Cross-trained in areas such as barista, tray line, and dishwashing to support efficient workflow. The role requires following established procedures, delivering high-quality service, and adapting to varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays with applicable shift differentials. Prior food service experience and strong teamwork and customer-service orientation are preferred.
