Job Summary
Assist with preparation of menu items including grab and go items and pizzas, while serving, prep, and stocking the Café. Ring up and pay for food items, and efficiently serve customers on serving lines during meal service. Maintain proper food safety and handling techniques per HACCP standards, enforce safety procedures, and ensure a safe working environment. Keep the facility clean according to sanitation standards, wiping up spills and clearing service lines after events. Perform duties in an orderly, professional manner to meet Southern Foodservice code of conduct standards. Work weekdays and occasional Saturdays in shifts from 6:00 AM to 10:30 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service and restaurant experience
- Must maintain cleanliness and appearance of areas during catering events and/or meal periods
- Clear service lines and thoroughly clean service areas after each event and/or meal service
- Strength: Lift up to 40lbs
- Posture: Standing 80%, Walking 20%
- Movement of objects: Frequent
- Heavy Lifting, Heavy Carrying, Pushing, Pulling
- Climbing or Balancing: Occasional
