Job Summary
Prepare all fresh made-to-order food items and maintain self-service offerings including coffee, fresh cases, dispensers, and fountain machines. Load product into fresh cases, operate the cash register, and provide best-in-class customer service by greeting every customer and suggesting purchases. Ensure high levels of sanitation, monitor inventory for freshness, and stock supplies while rotating product by received date. Assume full responsibility for executing the customer service program, minimizing safety risks, and enforcing environmental regulations. Document any accidents or incidents and complete the new employee safety orientation procedure. Use required gloves, hat/visor, and apron while performing these duties.
Required Qualifications
- General safety, sanitation and hygiene procedures
- Product/production processes
- Allergen & Food Safety Awareness
- Basic knowledge of the product, production processes and other techniques for maximizing the level of production
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
- Ability to work alone or as a member of a team
- Awareness of sanitation and hygiene procedures and practices
- Concern for the safety of self and co-workers
- A responsible attitude
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the store
