Job Summary
Prepare nutritious meals for preschool students in a on-site school kitchen, following daily menus and portion-control standards. Maintain allergy-conscious practices, ensure nut-free policies, verify labels, and adapt menus as directed by the Director. Assist with food ordering, pantry management, and keeping a clean, safe kitchen. Participate in staff meetings and school functions, and uphold professional appearance per the Employee Handbook. HACCP knowledge and Servsafe certification are preferred, with lifting up to 35 lbs as part of everyday duties. The role emphasizes positive relations with young children and adherence to regulatory requirements for local child-care and food-service agencies.
