Job Summary
The Food Service Supervisor will manage all activities within the deli/food service department, ensuring that merchandising, sales, and customer service goals are met. Responsibilities include directing personnel, selecting and training new team members, scheduling shifts, engaging customers, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The role also involves overseeing the preparation and merchandising of food items, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness in food areas. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of food service management experience.
Required Qualifications
- Previous food service management experience (2 years minimum)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and/or evenings
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-Safe certification preferred
- Desire to learn new products and new recipes
- A love of foods and a creative nature
